Statement on Active Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Every service I provide is rooted in ongoing learning and growth in areas of multicultural competence, diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racist practices. As both the owner of this business and a psychotherapist, these values are at the core of my work, and I am deeply committed to creating an inclusive and safe space for all BIPOC clients and individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community.
I recognize that I am human and will make mistakes from time to time. I want you to know that I am dedicated to learning, reflecting, and growing in my understanding of anti-racism, inclusion, and equity. The therapeutic relationship is personal, and it is important to me that I approach it with curiosity, sensitivity, and a commitment to continual improvement.
It is never the responsibility of the client to educate me about their experiences as a BIPOC individual or a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. That said, I strive to create a space where you can share your experiences, boundaries, and identities freely, without fear of judgment or dismissal. I welcome accountability and feedback, as I am committed to my own personal and professional growth. It is my duty to educate myself, engage in ongoing training, and evolve in my understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
